Why I Drove 50km Just to Say Thank You

Hey Beyonder!

Hope you're doing great!

Last week was one of those weeks that reminded me why I love what I do. No podcasts this time, but I got two solo YouTube videos recorded and posted one. Plus, countless Instagram videos and tasks checked off the list.

But here's the highlight that got me really excited...

A 50km Journey Worth Every Minute

My team and I traveled 50 kilometers to meet one of our clients. Not just any client - Vijay Pravin, the founder of bitsCrunch. He raised over 12 million dollars, and honestly, he's become way more than just a client to us.

Here's the thing - I went there with a mission. I wanted to give him a gift.

With help from my teammate, we combed through his videos to make sure we picked a G-Shock he didn’t already own. That’s how we landed on the classic golden one. When I handed it to him, his face lit up. You might even spot it in his upcoming videos!

Crashed the recording and surprised him

But why does this matter?

Vijay was my very first client when I started freelancing. His success is a huge reason why TownScholar exists today. Sometimes you need to remember the people who believed in you first.

The Real Secret Sauce

The bond between a client and a company is everything. It's not just about delivering work - it's about working toward the same goal together.

And you know what makes this possible? Communication.

Not the fancy corporate kind. I mean real communication - where you actually say what you mean and mean what you say. Whether it's business or personal relationships, most problems disappear when people just talk honestly.

Big News Coming (Can You Guess?)

I'm buzzing about an upcoming collaboration. It's not even about the money - I'm genuinely excited to work with this company.

Want a hint? Picture a huge glass building that looks like a blue bucket from the outside. It's one of the biggest companies in India.

Any guesses? Drop me a reply - I'm curious to see if you can figure it out!

My Productivity Hack (Involving Red Bull)

One thing I was proud of this week - my sleep schedule was on point. Only one bad night on Friday.

Here's where it gets interesting. I had to record a YouTube video that night, but honestly? I could have postponed it. I already had enough videos stacked up for my two-per-week goal.

But I was exhausted. Like, really exhausted.

So I did something I wouldn't normally recommend - I ordered a Red Bull. Ever since my first workshop, I've somehow connected Red Bull with energy. Their marketing team did their job well because even if I don't have energy, drinking it makes me believe I do.

I grabbed that Red Bull and started recording despite feeling terrible.

Then something amazing happened.

Just me… believing Red Bull’s got my back for the late night shoot

Two minutes in, I started loving the process. I could have recorded three more videos if I had the content ready!

That's when it hit me - the biggest productivity hack is just starting and pushing through the first two minutes. The rest takes care of itself.

I slept like a baby that night.

New Video’s Live, Seen It Yet?

Last week, I released a YouTube video breaking down the top skills for the future, based on the latest World Economic Forum report and the responses have been great! It's clear that more of us are actively looking to upskill and stay ahead of the curve.

That’s exactly why I shared about Simplilearn’s (#partnership) Professional Certificate Course in Generative AI & Machine Learning in the video.

What makes it stand out? It’s not just theory.

You get hands-on exposure to powerful tools like ChatGPT, Hugging Face, DALL·E 2, etc., along with 25+ real-world projects and capstone projects that help you truly apply what you learn.

What's Coming Next

We're planning something big - an AI school. It's still in the pipeline, but I'm excited about where this could go.

As always, I'll keep you posted on everything as it develops.

Over to You

I'm hoping for real conversations with you beyonders.

Thanks for reading this far. You're awesome.

Cheers,

Epaphra

P.S. That first two-minute rule? Try it this week with something you've been putting off. I bet you'll surprise yourself.
