I Thought I Was Healthy Until I Looked at My Blood Report

Hey Beyonder!

I'm back.

Not just to writing this newsletter. But back to something that makes me feel alive.

Let me explain.

The Comeback I Didn't Know I Needed

Last week, I played badminton after a long break.

And man, it felt good.

Here's the thing - I took a small detour from my health. Life got busy. Routine changed. You know how it goes.

But last week, I was back on the court. And something clicked.

I could see myself getting better. Day by day. Shot by shot.

You know what's fascinating? Watching yourself improve.

Not watching someone else. Not reading about it. But actually experiencing your own progress.

That feeling? I live for that.

Can’t express the feeling of whatever this is called.

The Mad Scientist Experiment (On Myself)

Now, this might sound crazy.

I'm planning to take a blood test every month.

Yes, every single month.

You might think, "Epaphra, are you mad?"

Maybe. But hear me out.

We measure everything, right?

Our height. Our weight. The TV inches. The square feet of our homes.

But what about our body? What's actually happening inside?

We have biomarkers. These are signs that tell us if we're healthy or not.

And here's the truth - if we're not healthy, nothing else matters.

So why don't we measure this?

What I Discovered About My Body

Three months ago, I took a blood test.

The results were bad.

My vitamin D3 was concerningly low. Something called homocysteine was way off the normal range. Most of my heart-related numbers? Definitely not good.

So I did something. I became my own experiment.

I changed my lifestyle. I took some supplements. I changed what I eat.

Last week, I took another blood test.

And wow. Most of my numbers improved. Significantly.

But here's the crazy part.

There was one biomarker. The report said it's 90% genetics. Meaning, you can't really fix it.

I didn't expect that to change.

But it did.

Just by being physically active, even that got fixed.

Just me being physically active.

The Simple Truth

Here's what I learned:

You can't improve what you don't measure.

I didn't know my vitamin D was low until I checked. I didn't know my heart numbers were bad until I saw the report.

Only when I knew, I could do something about it.

Only when I measured, I could improve.

My Challenge to You

I'm not saying take a blood test every month like me.

But start somewhere.

Be aware. Pay attention. Understand what's happening inside your body.

That's the first step to health.

Because here's the thing - we spend so much time building our careers, our followers, our businesses.

But if our body breaks down, what's the point of all that?

A Question for You

Not just your weight. Not just how you look.

But actually checked your health?

Think about it.

And if you want to share your health journey or have questions about mine, just hit reply. I read every email.

See you next week!

Cheers,
Epaphra

P.S. Progress is addicting. Whether it's badminton or biomarkers, watching yourself improve is one of life's simple joys. Don't miss out on it.

Why AI Isn’t Replacing Affiliate Marketing After All

“AI will make affiliate marketing irrelevant.”

Our new research shows the opposite.

Levanta surveyed 1,000 US consumers to understand how AI is influencing the buying journey. The findings reveal a clear pattern: shoppers use AI tools to explore options, but they continue to rely on human-driven content before making a purchase.

Here is what the data shows:

  • Less than 10% of shoppers click AI-recommended links

  • Nearly 87% discover products on social platforms or blogs before purchasing on marketplaces

  • Review sites rank higher in trust than AI assistants
