Can Multiple Things Be True at Once?

Hey !đź‘‹

Last week, I watched Black Mirror: Bandersnatch â€” that Netflix film where you choose what the character does.

And it hit me:

👉 The best stories don’t go in just one straight line.

They explore different paths — and every path still teaches you something.

I call this idea Quantum Storytelling â€” and it changed the way I make content.

Let me break it down 👇

🎮 What Is Quantum Storytelling?

Normal stories go like this:

But in real life?

There’s not just one way to fix something.

Quantum Storytelling says:

“What if there are many right answers?”

And shows all of them.

đź’ˇ Think of It Like...

🔵 A train track = traditional storytelling

đź”´ An open-world game = quantum storytelling

In a game like Minecraft or GTA, you don’t HAVE to do one thing.

You pick your path — but you still experience the same world.

Same with stories. You can show:

  • Different characters reacting differently

  • Different methods to solve the same problem

  • Different emotions from the same event

🧠 Example: Bandersnatch

Here’s how Bandersnatch does it:

  • Core truth: We think we’re making choices — but are we?

  • 3 major paths:

No matter which path you pick, it shows:

“You’re not really in control.”

That’s the magic.

🎯 Want to Try It?

Here's a cheat code to create Quantum Content:

âś… Step 1: Pick a topic

Example: Productivity

âś… Step 2: Find the core truth

→ Energy management is more important than time management

✅ Step 3: Show different “realities”

  • Reality A: Morning people → Finish deep work before 11am

  • Reality B: Night owls → Save creative work for evenings

  • Reality C: Low energy people → Use Pomodoro (25 min bursts)

Each one = a different valid path.
Same truth underneath.

🧪 More Examples (So It’s Super Clear)

🎥 Topic: Content Creation

Core truth: Your message matters more than how it looks

  • Reality A: Don’t have good editing? Just write better hooks

  • Reality B: Not confident on camera? Use carousels

  • Reality C: Can’t design? Use templates + focus on clarity

đź’¸ Topic: Making Money

Core truth: Money comes from solving real problems

  • Reality A: Sell your skills → Freelance

  • Reality B: Sell your time → Start consulting

  • Reality C: Sell your system → Build a product/course

💬 Why “It Depends” Is Powerful

Most people think saying â€śit depends” is weak.

But actually — it shows maturity.

You’re saying:

“I see that life isn’t one-size-fits-all.”

That’s why people trust you more.

They feel like you “get” them.

🚀 Challenge for You

This week, try Quantum Storytelling on just one topic.

Use: #QuantumStorytelling Or just reply to this email. I’d love to see yours.

You don’t need “one perfect answer” to be helpful.

You just need to show people that multiple truths can exist — and help them find their own.

Keep exploring,

Epaphra

P.S. I used to think giving “one right answer” was the best way.

Now? I’ve learned that giving people options builds deeper trust.

People trust content that feels real.
Try it. You'll never go back.
