A Home Tour, A Podcast Gamble, and A Realisation I Didn’t Expect

Hey Beyonders! 👋
Something weird happened this week that got me thinking about how we all try to balance our lives.
The Room That Changed Everything
After the Zoho shoot wrapped up, I did something different. I locked myself in a room. Not to create content or work on some big project. Just to think.
And that's when it hit me.
There are so many people I've been meaning to talk to. People I met at events. People who wanted to discuss ideas. Mostly business stuff. But here's the thing - I've been terrible at actually meeting them.
Every time I say yes to one meeting, I lose time for something else. And I haven't figured out the balance yet.
Sitting in that room, I realized something important. We always talk about saying no to things. But what about saying yes to the right things? How do you even know what's right?
The Simple Fix That Actually Worked
You know what's funny? I've been struggling with post-lunch laziness for a whole year. That 3 to 5 PM slot where your brain just... stops working.
I tried everything. Coffee didn't work. Power naps made me groggy. Different foods didn't help either.
But this week, I tried something so simple it almost felt stupid: gym or badminton right after lunch.

one smash at a time. My new post-lunch ritual.
And it's been working like magic.
Here's what I learned - sometimes the solution isn't about fighting the problem. It's about working with it. That 3 to 5 PM slot wasn't productive anyway. So why not turn it into movement time?
Now my days feel better. My energy is higher. And I'm not fighting my body anymore.
The Video I Never Thought I'd Make
This brings me to something that scared me a little. I filmed my first-ever home tour video.
I know, I know. Sounds very "YouTuber 101." I usually avoid mainstream trends like this. But this wasn't just about showing off my space.

Just me, trying something new.
I wanted to show where I came from. How I used to live. And why this current space means something to me.
When I first moved to Chennai, I was scared. Excited, yes. But filled with uncertainty. That video isn't just about furniture or nice lighting. It's about reminding people that progress is possible.
If I could get here, so can you.
Also, this was the first video I recorded without any script.
I'm curious to see how it turns out. Sometimes the best content comes when you stop trying so hard.
Something Big Is Coming
Speaking of content, we're doing a shoot this weekend that costs ₹1 lakh just for production. That's wild.
I don't think anyone in Tamil Nadu has produced a podcast at this level yet. I can't share all the details now, but I'm genuinely excited for what we're building.
It's one of those projects that might change everything. Or it might flop completely. But that's the beauty of trying new things, right?
The Meals That Reminded Me What Matters
Outside of all this work stuff, I had two wholesome meals at a friend's house. His parents were visiting from Pune and cooked for us.
Since I live with friends, it's always special to spend time with their families. It helps you see a different side of the people you live with. Adds depth to the bond.
There's something about home-cooked food that just hits different. It's not just the taste. It's the care behind it. The stories shared over the meal. The way it slows you down in a good way.

By the way… this view made me pause, so here’s a piece of it for you too.
These moments remind me why balance matters. Why those meetings I'm struggling to prioritize need to happen. Why the simple fixes, like post-lunch movement, are worth trying.
What This Week Taught Me
Life is about finding your rhythm. Not the perfect routine that works for everyone else. But the one that works for you.
Maybe it's locking yourself in a room to think. Maybe it's playing badminton when you feel lazy. Maybe it's filming videos without scripts.
The point is to keep experimenting. Keep trying. Keep adjusting.
Progress isn't always about big moves. Sometimes it's about small fixes that compound over time.
That's pretty much my week. A mix of reflections, routines, and progress. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you in the next one.

I read every email and would love to hear your story.

P.S. Next week, I'll share more about that ₹1 lakh shoot and what we're building. It's going to be something special.
